Building mission-critical platforms with precision and craft.
Pietro Freire
01 / About
Precision is only half the craft
I spent six years building platforms where failure isn't an option: trading systems wired to the B3 exchange, card APIs serving millions of daily accesses, insurance platforms for global banks.
That world taught me precision. But the part of the craft I love most is the other half: thinking out of the box, shipping full products end to end as a freelancer and, since 2024, going deep on AI. Not as a buzzword. As a daily engineering practice:
01 / Spec-first development
I use LLMs as analytical stress-tests for human thinking, forcing the hard questions about failure modes, concurrency and idempotency until a rigorous Markdown spec, not a chat log, is the single source of truth.
02 / MCP design systems
I build MCP servers that index design tokens, styles and components, so AI agents like Claude Code, Cursor and v0 can compose production-ready interfaces inside an autonomous loop of visual self-correction.
03 / Harness engineering
Deterministic guardrails around non-deterministic agents: progressive context disclosure, linters that teach the fix, approved fixtures over git diffs, and specialist 'minion' agents gardening the codebase against entropy.
